Quran’s content are often said to be from the devil. Mainly because it is at odds with the teachings of some religions which follow the concept of polytheism. Monotheism is looked as something from the devil, as there is only one head of the devil but many Gods.
In order to find out if Quran is from the devil we would have to study some of the basics of the Quran, such as the content, language, the reason behind the revelations and the compilation. We can not go into so much detail in one article but will try our best to cover as much as we can.
Quran was sent in Arabic. This leads to many questions, why not Greek? Or English as it is the most widely spoken language. So why choose Arabic? Arabic is a very vast language, it basically has a different word for every detail. For example Arabic a couple of different words can mean “with”.
These words could mean, exclusively with i.e. Nothing else is involved or generally where something that is not mentioned might be involved. That being the non religious explanation. Let us see what the Quran says about Arabic
Surely We have revealed it– an Arabic Quran– that you may understand.
An Arabic Quran without any crookedness, that they may guard (against evil).
And before it the Book of Musa was a guide and a mercy: and this is a Book verifying (it) in the Arabic language that it may warn those who are unjust and as good news for the doers of good.
So according to Quran it was revealed in Arabic so that it would be easy to understand. That is the basic idea, on another note the argument of language would still exist no matter what language was used. It would be a never ending question ” why this language and why not that language”.
Let us see the content, the Quran curses the devil so many times; we shall look at a few here:
And those who spend their property (in alms) to be seen of the people and do not believe in Allah nor in the last day; and as for him whose associate is the Shaitan, an evil associate is he!
Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak.
And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam they did obeisance, but Iblis (did it not). He refused and he was proud, and he was one of the unbelievers.
Why would the devil curse himself if he did indeed write the Quran. Why would the devil call himself the unbeliever, why would he call himself weak? For the devil’s interest it would have been best for him to be portrayed very highly as strong, and all powerful and good.
Quran states the devil as a weak, a fraud, evil and one who deviates man. It could not possibly be that the devil wrote the Quran.
Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.
